About Our Gites

We have three gites currently available for rental near La Rochelle, they are The Farmhouse,The Pigeonnier and Le Pressoir. One set of bed linen is provided per bed. Towels are provided too. Outside there are a table and chairs and a bbq for each of the gites. We have a large garden with a swimming pool, childrens play area, swings, wendy house and sun loungers. There is plenty of parking onsite for multiple vehicles.

Our gites (holiday homes) near La Rochelle are situated in a region called the Charente Maritime on the South-West coast of France. Nearby are the historic towns of La Rochelle, Cognac, Bordeaux and Rochefort. The chic island of Ile de Re is nearby, boasting many celebrity home owners such as Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis and visited by famous stars and singers, such as Katy Perry. Sandy beaches ideal for children are a short drive away with easy access to many beautiful islands, some accessable by foot at low tide, others needing a small boat trip. With as many hours of sunlight annually as Monaco and Nice and less traffic and congestion, it is ideal for everyone. There are lots of places to visit and things to do to keep everyone happy. The region boasts Europe's largest water parks, aquariums and ports, all less than 30 minutes away by car.
